About the event

“With every story, a song is born” will mark Usul Ensemble’s debut concert, presented as the closing performance of the Canadian Opera Company’s 2023–2024 Showcase Series at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto. Held in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre, the concert will feature music curated from the Dozan World Library, highlighting diverse Middle Eastern cultures and faiths.

As part of a season celebrating artists from Toronto’s Asian diasporas, this performance will weave a rich tapestry of stories and sounds,

where every song becomes a thread in a shared memory of home.
